What to Know Before Your Appointment
At Aoki Hair, we specialise in enhancing and celebrating your natural texture. A dry curly cut allows us to shape your curls in their natural state, giving you better definition, balance, and movement.
To ensure you get the best possible results from your appointment, it’s important to arrive with your hair properly prepared. Here’s what we recommend for all curly and wavy clients before a dry curly cut:
- Wash and condition your hair 24 to 48 hours before your appointment.
- Allow your curls to air-dry or diffuse 100% without manipulating them too much.
- Avoid heavy oils or styling creams that may weigh your hair down or alter your pattern.
- Please call if you’re running late – more than 15 minutes may require rescheduling.
- No-shows may require a deposit for future bookings.

If you want soft, frizz-free curls, you will love these products. We use them in the salon and they are also available for purchase.
